Alec was a very caring loving son, brother, uncle and great uncle. He was in a wheelchair for 48 years. He loved Manchester United and enjoyed going to watch them and Northern Ireland. He loved Country and Western Music especially Big Tom.

A much loved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always had a cup of tea and slice of cake ready for any occasion. Read the Sports section of the newspaper first, could read 7 books a week and the champion of crosswords.

Much loved mum, grandmother & sister; committed trade unionist & campaigner for workers’ rights, who sadly lost an 8 year battle with cancer. We couldn’t be with you to hold your hand & say goodbye, but you’ll always be in our hearts. Miss you so much xx

Sheila was a loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. Known specially as the ‘queen of the pavlova’. Always surrounded by friends, she was a people person and loved a good joke. It’s comforting to know that she is now at home with the lord. She will be missed dearly.

A devoted husband, dad and grandad who died with no family to comfort him. Dads death is still very raw and emotional for us especially the funeral arrangements which were cruel and in humane. He will live on in our hearts forever. Sleep tight. Xx

Our mum was taken far to soon after losing her battle with cancer, she had her funeral arranged and hymns picked but unfortunately due to Covid she didn’t get the send off she had arranged and deserved. She would be delighted to be part of this memorial.

My darling wife Jennifer passed away on the 24th April 2020 after an 11 year battle with early onset Dementia. No wake or Church Services. We held a service on the back patio at our home and only 6 people were allowed to attend the Church Yard for the burial.
